Romantic Horseback Ride

There are MANY places that offer trail rides, depending on what area you live in they can run anywhere from $10 to $25 an hour, some are just through the woods type of trails and others will take you through creeks or even across small rivers!  These rides can be very relaxing and romantic. Imagine the two of you on horseback side by side walking through the woods or across a creek, it's going back to the good old days when there were no cars or roadways, when people took it slow and easy and weren't always in a rush to get anywhere.

You might even find a place that does a day long ride, or a few hours, where you stop and picnic and get your legs back before you are back on the horse heading home. These rides are incredible, and if you have never been on a horse before don't worry, these horses have had all types of people on them, they know the trails so well you could probably fall asleep on their back and they would bring you right back home safe and sound  

You need to wear gym shoes at the very least, boots if you have them, and jeans and depending on what time of day, or the weather you might want to wear a hat or a jacket too.  Just remember, you are on an animal, and like all animals they can be unpredictable, so just be aware of your surrounding and listen to your guide and you will be just fine

Hike Your way to Romance

Hike you say! YES a hike is a wonderful way to spend time with each other, get a little exercise and really get to know one another!! If you haven't been dating very long it will give you ample opportunities to chat and get to know each other not to mention the many times you will be able to get close when you are helping her over a log or rock or down a steep incline. If you have a backpack it would be a great idea to pack it with some finger sandwiches and water or electrolyte type of beverage to keep you both hydrated. Find out what types of sandwiches she likes, meats, cheeses, dressings etc.  You might also want to go light and just bring along some granola or trail mix and plan for a nice dinner out after you both are spent and ready to relax.  Do a little research on the best and most scenic hiking trails in your area, make sure you map it out so you don't get lost and try and find places that are filled with wildlife and creeks and other things she might be interested in. If you are prepared and know where you are going you can have a wonderful time!  Just be careful, be safe and above all Have Fun!!!

Romance Her at the Beach

Beaches are VERY romantic IF you think of everything! A nice walk down the beach at sunset what is more romantic than that? What about ending that beach walk at a blanket with a picnic basket and some wine, watch the sunset while sitting on the blanket sipping wine hand in hand.  You can even come up with a little menu of cheeses, crackers and fruit and feed them to her. Make it a fun time, laughter is very romantic too! Maybe bring a Frisbee and play catch, or a deck of cards or even twister!! It's all right there in your imagination if you just think hard enough you can come up with something that will make her smile and sigh and think "I am the luckiest woman in the world"  THAT is what romance is all about!  It doesn't have to be expensive or elaborate, you don't have to fly her to the other side of the world, just show her that you care enough to go out of your way. You don't need a sunset to be romantic either, if you can find a secluded beach or one that is less traveled you can set up fun things for just the two of you to do without being interrupted by flying balls or kids running by.  What about building a sand castle together and compromising on what you each like and want this sand castle to look like.  Gather twigs and flowers and seaweed or anything you can find and landscape your new sand home.  All it takes is a little time, imagination and for you to care enough to show her just how special she is to you.
